9.2.2.4 Soft Start Capacitor

The evaluation module is specified to have a soft start time of tSS of 10ms, the soft start capacitor value can be calculated with Equation 6.

Equation 13. C S S = 20   m s × 2   µ A 0.6   V   =   33.3   n F

Therefore a 33nF ceramic capacitor is selected to configure the soft start time.
