8.2.2.18 VCC Capacitor CVCC

The primary purpose of the VCC capacitor is to supply the peak transient currents of the LO driver and bootstrap diode as well as provide stability for the VCC regulator. Choose CVCC at least 10 times greater than the value of CBST. Use good-quality, low-ESR, ceramic capacitor for CVCC. Place CVCC close to the pins of the device.

A value of 10µF was selected for this design example.
