8.1.1.1 Recommended Clock Oscillator Configuration

It is required that a clock oscaillator is shared between primary and secondary controllers. It is recommended that the oscillator is used with a clock buffer .

The clock oscillator circuits in the DLPC8545, or DLPC8555 have dedicated power (VDDS18_OSC) pins, with the recommended filtering for each shown in Figure 8-2, and the recommended values shown in DLPC8545, and DLPC8555 Recommended Crystal Clock Oscillator Parts.
