Jumper Information

Table 2-2 lists the jumper and shunt installations available on this EVM and their respective descriptions.

JP1 CE pin connection to ground to enable charging. When removed, CE pin will pull up to disable charge Installed

JP3 REGN to TS resistor divider network connection. This must remain connected to prevent TS fault. Installed
JP4 Thermistor NORMAL temperature setting. Connect jumper to simulate charger entering TNORMAL (T2T3) temperature region. Remove this jumper whenever using an externally connected thermistor. Installed

On E-2 board, to enter HiZ mode with valid voltage at VIN pin, install shunt to pull ILIM_HIZ pin high to 3.3V pull up voltage. To set ILIM=3.3A max, remove JP5, JP6 and JP23 shunts then connect ILIM_HIZ pin from JP23[1] or TP11 to GND.
