The XTREVM-TRANSMITTER can be combined with a SNSR-DUAL-ADC-EVM which uses a MSPM0G1507 and two ADS122S14 ADCs to measure sensor inputs. Figure 2-2 shows the full field transmitter platform setup. The 16-pin header (J2) on the XTREVM-TRANSMITTER connects with connector J2 on SNSR-DUAL-ADC-EVM. This connector provides input voltage, SPI communication, and supply voltage to sensor board.
XTREVM-TRANSMITTER can be connected as a 3-wire field transmitter on the output with field supply, GND, and output load attached to connector J1.
The XTREVM-TRANSMITTER can be configured to bypass the PWM filter and receive external inputs directly to the XTR200 to evaluate without the SNSR-DUAL-ADC-EVM in a debug mode. Jumper J3 is required to be shorted to allow for the XTR200 to be turned on and the input from a DAC or external voltage source can be applied to test point "IN", as shown in Figure 2-3. This configuration does not allow for error flag monitoring or output disable feature. The mode by default is set to current-mode.
