Arbitrary Waveform Generation Page

The Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) Page provides an interface for configuring the DAC and generating analog waveforms. The AWG page enables users to configure the device operating mode, communication interface, waveform parameters, and update rate from the GUI. The AWG supports sinusoidal, square, and triangular waveforms. By adjusting waveform parameters such as amplitude and duty cycle, the GUI can generate additional waveform variants including sawtooth, unipolar, bipolar, symmetric, and asymmetric waveforms.

The AWG page also provides a waveform preview and a configuration summary, allowing users to verify all settings before waveform generation as shown in Figure 3-11.

To verify the DAC output remains within the specified ±21V range, select the appropriate gain setting (for more detail see Section 3.2.2) based on the reference voltage (see the Table 3-4 for reference voltage).
