Connect the GUI to the master TSW14xxx board. Select the device, set the sample rate, then go to “data capture options > trigger option”.
Set up the trigger option as shown in Figure 3-14. The software trigger sends out a trigger signal upon a software GUI button press. This also arms the TSW14xxx master board to register its own trigger signal. To capture data using the "Software Trigger enable" option, click on the "Generate Trigger" button on the main panel of the GUI. This will send out a pulse on the SYNC/TRIG_OUT outputs. This signal, which is now connected to the EXT_TRG_INPUT/TRIG_IN of both boards, starts a capture once detected by the FPGA of each board.
