8.3.2.1 Diode Selection

The LMG365xR035 offers no reverse-recovery charge and very limited output charge. Circuits using the LMG365xR035 can exhibit high voltage slew rates. Verify that a compatible bootstrap diode do not introduce high output or reverse-recovery charge.

Use a silicon carbide diode, such as the GB01SLT06-214, to avoid reverse-recovery effects. The output charge of the SiC diode is 3nC. Although there is additional loss from its output charge, it does not dominate the losses of the switching stage.
