7.7 Power Save Modes

Table 7-6 lists the supported power states.

Table 7-6 Device Power States
Power State Details
Active Active Power State is when RF/chirping activity is ongoing
Processing Processing Power State is when data is being processed and RF turned off(1)
IdleIdle Power State is during inter-frame/inter-burst/inter-chirp idle time
Deep Sleep

Lowest possible power state of the device where the critical contents of the device can be retained (Application Image, Chirp Profile etc) without needing device reboot.

Device can enter this state after the frame processing is complete in order to save power significantly. Deep sleep exit can be through a number of external wakeup sources and internal timing maintenance.
