About the Author

JUSTIN YIN is a Systems Engineer on the Building Automation System Engineering & Marketing (SEM) team at Texas Instruments, where he is responsible for developing sensing reference design solution for building security system and fire safety system. He obtained his Master of Control Engineering degree from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University and his Bachelor of Science in Automation from Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology.

COLIN HICE is a Systems Engineer on the Building Automation System Engineering and Marketing (SEM) team at Texas Instruments. Colin holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University. He has helped develop smart sensing designs for building automation applications, including radar and passive infrared solutions.
