Our MSP430 CapTIvate™ technology offers a low-power solution to detect a capacitance change due to human touch. Capacitive sensing enables designers to move away from mechanical switches to sleeker sliders and buttons for an improved user experience. Our portfolio supports up to 64 buttons, sliders and wheels with reliable performance in wet, dirty and greasy conditions as well as through metal, glass, plastic and other overlays.

Our MSP430FR604 and MSP430FR504 device families are specifically designed for ultrasonic sensing applications. These single-chip, low cost MCUs include an integrated ultrasonic sensing analog front end. The analog front end provides unique waveform capturing technology with a high-speed ADC and cross correlation method to enable high-accuracy measurements with low-power consumption.
