The SN74LVC2G16B-Q1 contains two inverters with Schmitt-trigger inputs and Open-Drain outputs and performs the Boolean function Y = A. The device functions as two independent inverters. The Schmitt-trigger architecture produces different input threshold levels for positive-going (VT+) and negative-going (VT– ) signals and results in improved tolerance for slow and noisy input signals.

This device is fully specified for partial-power-down applications using Ioff. The Ioff circuitry disables the outputs, preventing damaging current backflow through the device when the device is powered down.
