The TPS61391 is a 700-kHz pulse-width modulating (PWM) step-up converter with an 85-V switch FET with an input ranging from 2.5 V to 5.5 V. The switching peak current is up to 1000 mA. The TPS61391 includes accurate current mirror with two gain options selectable (1 : 5 or 4 : 5).

The TPS61391 also provides high optical-power protection with an additional FET in series with the APD power path with the typical response time of 0.5 µs . It can recover automatically once the high optical releasing.

The TPS61391 is available in 3 mm × 3 mm QFN package with exposed pad underneath.

PMP40871 — 48-V 輸出低雜訊幻象電源參考設計

此參考設計可為使用 TPS61391 和 TPS7A4101 的幻象電源應用提供 48-V 輸出低雜訊電源供應。TPS61391 為一款將 3.3 V 或 5 V 轉換為 48.5 V 的 700-kHz PWM 升壓轉換器。TPS7A4101 是 50-V 容限輸入及 0.29-V 壓降 LDO，可升壓 48.5 V 降至 48 V，並可將輸出漣波降至最低。此設計在 5-V 輸入下支援 48-V、20-mA 輸出功率。輸出漣波約爲 8.4-mV，對於幻影電源應用而言偏低。
