The ADS1248 evaluation module (EVM) performance demonstration kit (PDK) is an platform for evaluating the ADS1248 eight-channel, 24-bit, high-precision delta-sigma (ΔΣ) analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The EVM is designed to easily accept many types of analog temperature sensors, including resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), thermocouples, and thermistors.
The kit includes the ADS1248EVM and a precision ADC motherboard (PAMBoard). Evaluation software enables the user to communicate with the ADC over universal serial bus (USB), capture data, and perform data analysis.
