Overview

The ADS7066 evaluation module (EVM) performance demonstration kit (PDK) is a platform for evaluating the performance of the ADS7066 successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC)

The ADS7066EVM-PDK provides power and a communications card complete with a graphical user interface (GUI) to quickly evaluate performance and functionality that easily connects to the 8-input-channel part with I/O expander.

Linear & low-dropout (LDO) regulators
TPS780 — 150-mA, nano-IQ, low-dropout voltage regulator with pin-selectable, dual-level output voltage

 

Precision op amps (Vos<1mV)
OPA325 — Low noise (10nV/rtHz), wide bandwidth (10MHz), low power (0.65mA), zero crossover op amp

 

Series voltage references
REF6025 — 2.5-V, 5-ppm/°C high-precision voltage reference with integrated buffer & enable pin

  2. Download EVM User's Guide for Installation Instructions
  3. Navigate to ADS7066EVM-PDK GUI Composer Project
  4. Connect EVM To PC
  5. Configure Device to desired mode of operation, or use presets or default
  6. Take Measurements
