Absolute Maximum Ratings

over operating free-air temperature range (unless otherwise noted)(1)(1)(4)
MIN MAX UNIT
PVIN(2), AVIN to GND −0.3 6 V
SW(3), EN, FB, COMP, PGOOD, SS/TRK to GND −0.3 V
Lead temperature (soldering, 10 sec.) 260 °C
Storage temperature, Tstg −65 150 °C
Stresses beyond those listed under Absolute Maximum Ratings may cause permanent damage to the device. These are stress ratings only, which do not imply functional operation of the device at these or any other conditions beyond those indicated under Recommended Operating Conditions. Exposure to absolute-maximum-rated conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability.
The PVIN pin can tolerate transient voltages up to 6.5 V for a period of up to 6 ns. These transients can occur during the normal operation of the device.
The SW pin can tolerate transient voltages up to 9 V for a period of up to 6 ns, and –1 V for a duration of 4 ns. These transients can occur during the normal operation of the device.
If Military/Aerospace specified devices are required, contact the Texas Instruments Sales Office/Distributors for availability and specifications.
