8.3.8.5.2 APLL2N Divider With SDM

The APLL2 fractional N divider includes a 9b integer portion (INT), a 24b numerator portion (NUM), a programmable 24b denominator portion (DEN), and a sigma-delta modulator. The INT , NUM and DEN are programmable for high frequency resolution on the VCO2 clock. The total APLL2N divider value is: N = INT + NUM / DEN.

The PFD frequency and total N divider for APLL2 determine the VCO2 frequency, which can be computed by Equation 7.
