Break-Before-Make Delay

The break-before-make delay is a safety feature of the TMUX6113 switch. The TMUX6113's ON switches first break the connection before the OFF switches make connection. The time delay between the break and the make is known as break-before-make delay. Figure 8-4 shows the setup used to measure break-before-make delay, denoted by the symbol tBBM.
