The undervoltage lockout (UVLO) circuit prevents the device from malfunctioning at the low input voltage of the battery from the excessive discharge. The device is ready to operate after the rising VIN trips the UVLO threshold and disables the output stage of the converter once VIN is below the UVLO falling threshold.
The status of the I2C programing interface is decided only by the VIN. That is, regardless of the status of the EN pin and CONVERTEN_EN.
