2.1 Target System Specification

This bootloader is designed for use on a MSP430G2001, which is currently the smallest MSP430™ Value Line device member. However, it can be easily modified to fit other G2xx devices–required modifications are shown in following sections.

For the BSL, the memory size matters:

RAM: 128 bytes

Flash: 512 bytes, one segment on MSP430G2001

Info A: 64 bytes minus 2-byte DCO calibration data for 1 MHz

Info B, C, D: 64 bytes each
