Output Undervoltage Protection

There are two output undervoltage protection features. The first monitors the output voltage based on the FBVDD and FBVEE pin voltages. When the FBVDD pin voltage falls below the UVP threshold VVDD_UVP_F, or the FBVEE pin voltage falls below the UVP threshold VVEE_UVP_F, the undervoltage protection is activated. UCC34141 stops switching, and the Power-Good pin change to non-active status. The second undervoltage monitor, UVLO, directly monitors the VDD voltage at the VDD pin. When the VDD pin voltage drops below VVDD_UVLOS_F UCC34141 stops switching, and the Power-Good pin change to non-active status

During soft start, the output voltages rise from zero volts, thus, both FBVDD and FBVEE pin voltages are below the UVP thresholds. The UVP is disabled during the soft start. If the pin voltage cannot reach the UVP recovery thresholds (VVDD_UVP_R, VVEE_UVP_R) after the soft start completes, undervoltage protection is activated, the UCC34141 stops switching, and the Power-Good pin change to non-active status.
