Analog Input and Output Connections

The programmable amplifier input signal connections for the PGA848EVM are provided through the use of SMA connectors J4 (IN+), J7(IN-), and test points TP4(IN+), TP8(IN-), located at the left of the EVM. The REF external input is provided through screw-terminal connector J2, located at the right of the board. The PGA848EVM also provides direct access to the REF pin through screw-terminal connector J2.1, and test point TP2 located at the right of the board.

The PGA848 output connection is provided through screw-terminal connector J5.4, SMA connector J3, and test point TP5, located at the right side of the EVM. Figure 2-7 displays a simplified diagram of the PGA848EVM input and output connections.
