1-Channel Configuration

When only 1 of the amplifiers on the TAS2573EVM is required, the other device can be removed from the circuit. This section includes instructions on how to disconnect U2, however the same procedure can be applied to disconnect U1.

  • J18 jumpers must be removed to disconnect VBAT supply from the boost inductor L2.
  • J17 and J21 must be removed to disconnect VBAT and VBAT_SNS pins respectively.
  • J15 and J16 to the left of U2 must be disconnected as well. This removes IOVDD and VDD supplies.
  • Removing jumpers from J40/J41 is optional to disconnect the ASI digital signals, however this can only be done to remove U2 as U1 is always connected to the ASI signal source from AC-MB.
