7.4.1 Fail-Safe Inputs

The LMK3H0102 digital input pins are designed to support fail-safe input operation, with the exception of the REF_CTRL pin. This feature allows the user to drive the digital inputs before VDD is applied without damaging the device. Refer to Absolute Maximum Ratings for more information on the maximum input voltages supported by the device.
