Test results

The author conducted line-of-sight (LOS) distance tests at 60cm, 100cm, and 200cm using TI's reference design at close range.

The schematic diagram of the post-processing flow is shown in Figure 6-2:

  • Multi-Algorithm Advantages: Fuses the advantages of neural networks, Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), and MUSIC (Multiple Signal Classification) algorithms.
  • Error Compensation: The disadvantages of each algorithm can be offset by the advantages of other algorithms.
  • Multipath Suppression: The MUSIC algorithm performs particularly prominently in decoupling multipath interference.
  • Spectral Precision: FFT provides frequency-domain insights to enhance resolution.
  • Real-Time Processing: The fusion mechanism reduces computational overhead.
  • Performance in Obstacle Scenarios: Performs better under Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) conditions or in high-reflection/interference scenarios.
