The ADS101C0x and ADS111C0x (ADS1x1C0x) are precision,
low-power, I2C-compatible, 12- and 16-bit
analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). The ADS1x1C0x integrate a
low-drift voltage reference, oscillator, a programmable gain amplifier (PGA), a digital comparator, and high-accuracy
temperature sensor. These features, along with the device wide power supply range
from 1.74V to 5.5V, are useful for power- and space-constrained, sensor measurement
applications.
The ADS101C0x and ADS111C0x perform conversions at
data rates up to 6 and 4kSPS, respectively. The PGA offers gain
settings from 1/6 to 16, allowing precise large- and small-signal measurements using
the internal 1.024V reference. The ADS1x1C02 feature an input multiplexer (MUX) that allows
four single-ended measurements, three differential measurements using AIN3 as a
common reference, or two independent differential input pairs.
