8.3 Power Supply Recommendations

The ADS9803 has three separate power supplies: AVDD_5V, VDD_1V8, and IOVDD. There is no requirement for a specific power-up sequence. The data and configuration digital interfaces are powered by IOVDD. A common 1.8V supply powers the VDD_1V8 and IOVDD pins. Figure 6-3 illustrates the decoupling capacitor connections for the respective power supplies. Confirm each power-supply pin has separate decoupling capacitors.
