7.3.5 Output Short Circuit Protection

The HDC3120 is designed to withstand a continuous short circuit condition to either VDD or GND. In the event of a short circuit, the output current is limited to ISC, preventing damage to the device. This feature provides robust operation and protects the HDC3120 from potential faults caused by unintended shorts.
