7.2.2.9 Bootstrap Capacitor (CBST)

The bootstrap capacitor connected between the BST and SW pins supplies the gate current to charge the buck switch gate at turnon. The recommended value of CBST is 22nF. Choose a low ESR ceramic capacitor with X7R dielectric rated for at least 16V.
