The IIR filter is implemented as follows:
Equation 6. w(n) = (a0 × DAC(n) + a1 × w(n – 1) + a2 × w(n – 2))
Equation 7. DACF(n) = (b
0 × w(n) + b
1 × w(n – 1) + b
2 × w(n – 2))
where
- a0, a1, a2, b0, b1, and b2 are the IIR filter coefficients stored in EEPROM.
- DAC(n) is the DAC output prior to the IIR filter.
- DACF(n) is the output of the PGA300 after the second-order IIR filter.
