Open-Loop (Duty Cycle) Control

In open-loop control mode (SPEED_LOOP_EN set to 0x0), the input duty from the PWM/DC pin (DIN) and duty curve determine the peak output duty cycle of the commutation waveform (motor phase voltage applied across OUTx pins), DOUT, as shown in Figure 6-9. The applied duty cycle to the H-bridge FETs depends on the commutation mode (COMMUTATION_MODE) and modulation mode (PWM_MODE) configurations.
