SCLK Echo Mode

To account for delays between the host and the ADC, the ADS932x features a SCLK Echo mode. In SCLK Echo mode, the device provides a return clock back to the host on pin D0 which can be used to latch the data as illustrated in Figure 7-22.

SCLK Echo mode can be enabled in 1-lane or 2-lane data output mode. To enable the SCLK echo signal on D0, write 1b to SCLK_ECHO in address 0x9. If the device is in 2-lane data output mode, write 1b to SDO_PD_OVERRIDE in address 0xA. SCLK Echo mode is not compatible with 4-lane data output mode. Figure 7-23 shows the timing for SCLK Echo mode.
