Digital Signal and Connection

The connection between the ADS124S18EVM and the PAMB controller card includes the power supply, SPI and I2C interfaces, and a fault output signal from the ADS124S18. Figure 2-8 shows header J3 on the top of the ADS124S18EVM and headers J1 and J2 on the bottom of the ADS124S18EVM. Table 2-3 show the pinout of headers J1 and J2 for the communication between the ADS124S18 and the PAMB controller card. Use the connection points of header J3 for troubleshooting the SPI communication with a logic analyzer or to attach an external MCU to control the ADS124S18EVM without the PAMB.
