EVM Setup

The Host USB3.0 test fixture-1 connects to the EVM at the type-C connector through a type-C to type-A connector. Set the DIP switch SW7/SW11 to SD card boot mode. The DIP switch must be set to DFP mode. The CTS requires a 3m cable and host test fixture-2 (5in trace) which is not part of the setup here, however, the LeCroy SigTest framework compensates for the long channel by channel emulation.

Connect the Main UART terminal of the EVM to the PC and open the first of the four COM ports on the TeraTerm terminal. Configure the serial port with the speed of 115200kbps instead of the default 9600kbps. Power on the EVM and the SoC now boots from the SD card.
