8.3.2 VIO Pin

The VIO pin provides the digital IO voltage to match the microprocessor IO voltage; thus, avoiding the requirements for a level shifter. VIO supports SPI pins. The TCAN157x-Q1 family supports processors with 1.8V, 3.3V and 5V input/output which provide the widest range of controller support.
