8.3.7.1.2 Direct Drive

WAKE3/DIR pin can be programmed to directly control any or all of the high-side switches, HSSx, see Figure 8-12. This is accomplished by programming the HSS_CNTLx registers at 8'h1E and 8'h4D to 1000b = Direct Drive pin control for each selected HSSx. This disables the WAKE3 functionality. When using direct drive, there is an enable and disable time based upon the edge change on the WAKE3/DIR pin. This is a power savings feature and shown in Figure 8-13.
