Diagnostic Features

The TCAN4550-Q1 device has several features that determines specific fault conditions in a system and indicate this back to the processor or place the device into a protected state that may include Sleep mode. Figure 3-5 is used to indicate these fault conditions. Figure 3-6 provides the devices state diagram and shows two protected modes and Sleep mode.
