6.4 Device Functional Modes

The UCC28070-Q1 operates in Average Current Mode. This eliminates the peak-to-average current error inherent in the peak current mode control method and gives lower THD and harmonics on the current drawn from the line. It does not require slope compensation and has better noise immunity than the peak current control method.
