6.3.3.1 Power-On Reset (POR)

The DACx1416 includes a power-on reset function. After the supplies are established, a POR event is issued. The POR causes all registers to initialize to default values and communication with the device is valid only after a 1-ms POR delay. After a POR event, the device is set in power-down mode where all DAC channels and internal reference are powered down and the DAC output pins are connected to ground through a 10-kΩ internal resistor.
