SLLSFS2 September 2025 TCAN6062-Q1
ADVANCE INFORMATION
Two consecutive similar edges on TXD that occur faster than tFastTOSIC determine the PWM signal period time, defined as tSymbolNom. The TCAN6062-Q1 determines that the input signal is a valid PWM if tSymbolNom falls within tSymbolNom(min) and tSymbolNom(max) as given in the Switching Characteristics. If this occurs, the device switches from SIC mode into either FAST RX mode or FAST TX mode as described in Section 7.3.3.2 and Section 7.3.3.3 respectively. The device remains in FAST TX or FAST RX mode as long as the device is in Normal mode and the PWM signal period time on TXD remains within tSymbolNom(min) and tSymbolNom(max).
When the device is in SIC mode, the TXD pin is used for pre-selection of FAST RX mode or FAST TX mode.
