Power Supply Recommendations

The recommended input supply voltage (VVIN) for UCC35131-Q1 is between 5.5V and 20V. To help ensure reliable operation, adequate decoupling capacitors must be located as close to supply pins as possible. Local bypass capacitors must be placed between the VIN and GNDP pins at the input; between VDD and COM, and between COM and VEE at the output. TI recommends low ESR, ceramic surface mount capacitors to provide the recommended capacitance for high frequency decoupling. The input supply must have an appropriate current rating to support output load required by the end application.
