In SHUTDOWN mode, the LDO output is disabled so internal power and all RAM-based volatile data are lost. The host can command the gauge to immediately enter SHUTDOWN mode by first unsealing the gauge and then enabling the mode with a SHUTDOWN_ENABLE subcommand (GUID-7F75F679-EA2A-4DCA-AA11-3545B22CFB46.html#GUID-7F75F679-EA2A-4DCA-AA11-3545B22CFB46) followed by the SHUTDOWN subcommand (GUID-E548C102-0D6A-4DA5-85AB-94CD6075E820.html#GUID-E548C102-0D6A-4DA5-85AB-94CD6075E820). To exit SHUTDOWN mode, the GPOUT pin must be raised from logic low to logic high for at least 200 µs.
