Power Requirements

The LP-MSPM0L2117 only needs the USB plugged in and the debugger jumper block populated to power the device. With the on-board LDO, the 5V USB supply is converted to 3.3V with a supply of 500mA. The LaunchPadâ„¢ can also be powered using the 3.3V or 5V headers through an external supply. Do not exceed 3.3V on the 3.3V rail or 5V on the 5V rail.
