7.4.2 Universal Serial Bus (USB2.0)

The processor families support x1 instance of USB 2.0 interface port. The USB interface (USB0 port) can be configured as host or device or Dual-Role Device (DRD).

USB0_VBUS is recommended to be connected as per the USB Design Guidelines section of the processor-specific data sheet. The supply voltage range for the USB0_VBUS pins is defined in the Recommended Operating Conditions section of the processor-specific data sheet. The nominal input voltage applied is equal to the resistor divider output when VBUS supply voltage level is 5V.

Note:

USB0_VBUS are fail-safe inputs. The fail-safe input is valid only if the VBUS supply is connected through the recommended USB VBUS Detect Voltage Divider / Clamp Circuit.
