Understanding Wi-Fi 6 technology
Our latest CC33xx and CC35xx portfolio supports Wi-Fi 6, the latest Wi-Fi protocol with improvements to reliability, security and speed. Power optimizations and improvements to reliability are possible with Wi-Fi 6 technologies such as OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Multiple Access) and TWT (Target Wake Time). These advancements make our devices ideal for next-generation connected environments, where reliability and performance are essential. Watch the video to learn more about the benefits and features of Wi-Fi 6.
Benefits of 5GHz
Our CC335x and CC355x support the 5GHz frequency range, allowing for more interoperability and better reliability. The 5GHz band is significantly less crowded compared to the 2.4GHz band, which means there is less interference from other devices such as microwaves, Bluetooth enabled devices, neighboring Wi-Fi networks and any other wireless communication protocols that also use 2.4GHz. This reduced congestion results in a more stable and reliable connection, even in environments with a high density of wireless devices. Watch the video to learn more about the benefits and features of dual-band.

Why choose pre-certified modules?
Our pre-certified wireless modules enable you to add wireless connectivity to your designs with minimal effort and faster time to market.
Benefits:
- Streamline your wireless qualification process by leveraging TI's certifications with regulatory bodies around the world.
- Simplify your board design and supply chain, as no external components are required.
- Forgo the need for expensive radio-frequency equipment and expertise by using our internal antenna or approved reference designs.
Supported security enablers
In the context of connected devices, vulnerability in one device can compromise the entire network. There are multiple levels of security required between a wireless protocol, both in hardware and software to ensure system integrity. Our latest family of CC33xx devices support a multitude of security enablers, such as WPA3 and firmware authentication for protection against malicious attacks. Furthermore, our integrated CC35xx family of devices support security enablers such as Arm TrustZone and an integrated hardware security module.
Enabling efficient communication
Ensuring a seamless connection between different devices is essential for a reliable user experience. Interoperability is a critical factor as devices must be able to communicate efficiently with a wide range of networks and other devices. Our latest family of CC33xx and CC35xx devices are tested using over 275 different access points from various manufacturers. Whether in complex industrial environments or everyday consumer settings, our devices deliver consistent, reliable performance making them a trusted choice for wireless connectivity.
