DLP® offers development platforms and chipsets to enable innovative applications that incorporate light processing and light steering needs. The DLP chip, or Digital Micro Mirror Device (DMD), is the MEMS component at the heart of DLP® technology and contains an array of micro mirrors that can be used for spatial light modulation. This is the same DLP chip technology that is known for its proven reliability, fast switching speed, and high contrast found in multiple projection applications.
