Stellaris® ARM® Cortex™-M3 MCUs featuring 10/100 Ethernet MAC with integrated PHYThe Stellaris® Family of ARM® Cortex™-M3 microcontrollers features a fully integrated 10/100 Ethernet MAC and PHY. The Ethernet conforms to the IEEE 802.3-2002 Specification, fully supporting 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX full- and half-duplex operation standards, integrating the 10/100 Mbps transceiver (PHY), and featuring automatic MDI/MDI-X cross-over correction, a programmable MAC address, promiscuous mode support, a 2KB transmit FIFO / 2KB receive FIFO, and power-saving and power-down modes. Several Stellaris Ethernet-enabled MCUs also feature hardware assistance for an IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) system.
