HART Transmitter Board

Figure 2-6 shows picture of the AFE882H1 HART transmitter design. Loop power is applied to the board through a terminal at the right side of the board. In series with this connection is a 500Ω resistor. Modems attached to a HART test system can be attached to across the input of the transmitter. The transmitter and resistor then connect to a power supply that typically runs at 24V.
