Output Voltage Spike

Output Voltage Spike (VSPIKE or VSPK) is the magnitude of the transient output voltage spike which occurs on an input or output pin when turning the switch channel ON or OFF. When measuring VSPK on the Dx pin, 50 Ω is placed on the Dx pin and 1 kΩ is placed on the Sx pin. Likewise, when measuring VSPK on the Sx pin, 50 Ω is placed on the Sx pin and 1 kΩ is placed on the Dx pin. Figure 6-5 shows the setup used to measure the VSPK of the switch.
