Reset

To run the firmware after it has been written and verified, the SBL function reset has to be used. The reset function sends the CMD_RESET command to the bootloader to invoke a reset. The connection between the host and the device will break after the CMD_RESET command has been sent and an ACK has been received from the bootloader. The sequence chart for the reset function can be observed in Figure 4-8.
